Hi!
I am Violet (She/They). I was born and raised in Humboldt County CA. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 22, over 10 years ago! I originally worked in the lighting entertainment industry but made a transition to become a doula. Lights are cool and pretty and exciting! But being a doula is fulfilling. Helping families grow and adjust to this new normal is something I am passionate about. I have taken my knowledge of lighting and theater into the labor room to help you relax and focus. I provide non-judgmental and honest care during one of your families most vulnerable times. I will not judge your parenting style or choices. I will never lie to you. I am here to help. My mission is to empower new parents as they transition into parenthood. When I am done providing my services my goal is to walk away with you feeling confident, relaxed, and ready to take on this new life called parenthood! Everyone deserves a doula who understands who they are, listens to what they need, and comes with an open heart and an open mind. I hope to be that doula for you!

Birth & Postpartum Home Visits
Postpartum Services:

My postpartum home visits are designed to provide hands-on support and guidance as you navigate the early days of parenthood. From breastfeeding to assistance to meal support, I am here to help you thrive during this transformative time. I meet you where you are at, so each day might be different.

Birth Services:
​
My birth services focus on making the birthing space inviting via lights, smell, and sound. I will help you with your birth plan, join you for two prenatal visits, be on call from 36 weeks until your baby is born, set the mood in the delivery room, help you through labor, advocate for your choices for your birth, visit you twice in your postpartum period at your home and help you decompress.
Birth Sibling Care
Don't have anyone to watch your fist born when you go into labor? I got you!
24/7 at home sibling care from when labor starts until you no longer need sibling care.
4 hr min - no max
- This can include making meals for sibling, playing with sibling, putting sibling to bed, watching sibling overnight, preparing any last minute things before new baby comes, on call from 36 weeks - 42 weeks.
Nesting Parties
Need help putting together your nursery?
I will plan a nesting party! Lets get together and create, organize, and transform a space in your home to your babies new room!
This can include baby cloth set up and organization, bottle station setup and organization, Diaper station setup and organization, as well as some postpartum prep for you!

Help Packing / Unpacking hospital bags

Need help packing and unpacking your hospital bag?
Let me help you pack everything you need for your birth and when you are back from the hospital, let me unpack, do laundry, and put everything away for you!
Doctor visit prep / ride along
+$15/hr when booked with additional services

Want someone there to help you get baby ready for their doctors visit? Want someone to come with you? ​
Let me prep your diaper bag, strap the baby in, and get going! Worried about going to the doctors alone? I can help you with that too. Let me be an extra pair of hands to help with any blow outs, crying fits, or anything else that may happen.

Want have nutritional meals that can help with milk production and heal your body from birth?
Let me take care of meal planning, grocery shopping, meal prep, and cooking meals in your home without you needing to do a thing!
